When you think about your BIG goal, do you start to feel overwhelmed? Why? Because BIG goals usually don’t get achieved right away. Instead, why not create mini goals to help excite you along the way? This way you can be more goal-orientated and build a habit of being more effective, albeit with smaller goals that will lead to your larger goal! Maybe you can break your goal down to 10 small-sized goals with tasks that get you on track to achieve them.
Then, it is important to celebrate your small wins; celebrating as you reach your small, step by step goals, which will help you stay motivated through your business or staying healthy journey. (Plus, celebrating is always super fun.) For one thing, celebrating small goals helps to build momentum and motivation. Achieving a goal, no matter how small, gives you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. When you celebrate that achievement, it reinforces the positive behavior and encourages you to keep going. This can help to build momentum towards larger goals and keep you motivated to continue making progress.
Second, celebrating small goals helps to boost your self-esteem and confidence. Each time you achieve a goal, it helps to demonstrate to yourself that you are capable of making progress and achieving success. This can help to build your confidence and self-belief, which can be important for tackling bigger challenges.
And last, celebrating small goals can help make the journey towards a larger goal more enjoyable. When you focus solely on the end result, it can be easy to become overwhelmed or discouraged by the distance you still need to travel. Celebrating small milestones along the way can help to make the journey more enjoyable and remind you that progress is being made.
Think about something that you’ve accomplished in your business in the last month. Maybe you updated your logo, gave someone great customer service and now have another great customer review that you can share, or have some new patients.
