About Us

Dr. Martha Lucas

Dr. Martha Lucas, L.Ac. is a psychologist, author, and practitioner of Chinese Medicine, known for her integrative, evidence-informed approach to whole-person wellness. She works with patients both in person and virtually, offering personalized care that blends classical diagnostic techniques with modern clinical insight to support healing, resilience, and healthy aging.

Using traditional pulse diagnosis and integrative treatment methods, Dr. Lucas addresses sports injuries, chronic and acute pain, internal medicine concerns, fertility challenges, digestive disorders such as acid reflux, pregnancy-related conditions including morning sickness, and age-positive wellness care. Her work emphasizes treating root causes—not just symptoms—while helping patients stay active, vibrant, and well.

Dr. Lucas is a recognized expert in Cosmetic Acupuncture, offering a natural alternative to injectables by stimulating collagen production, strengthening facial muscles, and supporting the internal systems that influence skin health and visible aging. Her personalized, client-focused approach addresses both cosmetic concerns and underlying patterns that contribute to premature aging, with the goal of restoring balance, vitality, and a naturally youthful appearance.

“I can’t prevent aging, but I can help you and your skin stay vibrant and energetic.”

As an author and educator, Dr. Lucas contributes to the broader conversation around integrative medicine, conscious aging, and sustainable self-care. Her writing reflects her clinical experience and commitment to empowering individuals with practical, accessible knowledge that supports long-term health and informed decision-making.

In addition to cosmetic acupuncture, Dr. Lucas offers Facial Gua Sha Moisture Bomb Therapy, microneedling for the face, neck, hands, eyebrows, and hair loss, B12 injections, and virtual therapy—ensuring that Chinese medicine is always within reach. She is also the creator of My Zen Skin Care, a natural skincare line formulated with Chinese herbs, essential oils, and active cosmeceuticals.

Frequently described as “the best Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist in Denver” and “the best cosmetic acupuncturist out there,” Dr. Lucas’s patients consistently report profound results. As one patient shares, “Seriously… I feel like I’ve had a weeklong vacation after one of Dr. Martha’s treatments.” — J.K.
